- 鲨鱼TV Episodes: 86 Producers: Unknown Studios: Unknown Genre: Romance, Comedy. Transcend Rating: PG-13 - Teens 13 or older Status: Ongoing My Rating: ★★★★★ This is a Chinese anime that I found its cuteness is amazing. The furry fox spirit, Qinxi is a reincarnation of an 18-year-old girl who was lying in the hospital. She was adopted by a serious but kind (only to the fox spirit) prince, XuanYuanyu (main male character) and there are so many cute and funny scenes. The fox spirit then cultivates and becomes a young lady. This anime is still not completed yet so stay tuned. So far I only found up to 27 combined episodes. Others are individual episodes if you cannot wait.

Since I read a lot of these and I would like to share and also easier for me to take note of which of these are more interesting to read. I am still reading this manhua right now.       This is a funny manhua which I would recommend for those who are into comedy. This is not a review but my opinion of this manhua. There is no lack of funny scenes between the two main characters Merlin Lucifer (demon) and Al...

Linux-Apps: HakuNeko — Manga & Anime Downloader

HakuNeko is a cross-platform downloader for manga and anime from various websites. HakuNeko was made to help users who download media for circumstances that requires offline usage. The philosophy is ad-hoc consumption, get it when you want to read/watch it. It is not meant to be a mass downloader to stock up thousands of chapters that are just collected and will probably never be read. — https://hakuneko.download/ HakuNeko is the manga downloader I used to download mangas for my Huawei T1-701u tablet. Since having an unsupported android 4.4.2, there are limited supported android apps available. There might be other manga readers and downloaders but I prefer not to use them to keep the storage minimum.  For how to use this app, please go to the link below: https://hakuneko.download/docs/install/ Some connectors would be slower to load so the chapters downloaded would be slower. So far I am using mangabat and mangahub connectors. Some manga chapters have download issues with Man...

Android-Apps: Tachiyomi — Open Source (Ad-Free) Manga Downloader and Reader

Tachiyomi logo from apkplay.io Tachiyomi is my favorite Android app for downloading and reading manga (Japanese), manhua (Chinese), or manhwa (Korean).  Tachiyomi image from  tachiyomi.org      By itself, Tachiyomi is just a manga reader. You are able to select the source from local and read manga from. However, the more useful function is the manga downloader extensions. The extensions here mean the manga sites where you can browse and download manga chapters from. There is a lot of extensions available for Tachiyomi and you will be spoilt for choice. However, due to such a large pool of manga sites to find manga, below are the extensions that I use that are currently working: Mangahub Mangabat ManhuaUS MangaDex      You can select multiple manga sources in Tachiyomi. The above extensions are all enabled in my tablet (Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL) P024). I mainly use Mangahub and sometimes Mangabat or ManhuaUS for those less common or someti...

Linux-OS: Elementary OS 6.1 — macOS And Windows Replacement Candidate

Elementary OS logo from solcainformatica.es Elementary OS is an Ubuntu-based desktop distribution. Some of its more interesting features include a custom desktop environment called Pantheon and many custom apps including Photos, Music, Videos, Calendar, Terminal, Files, and more. It also comes with some familiar apps like the Epiphany web browser and a fork of Geary mail. — Distrowatch.com Elementary OS is a desktop Linux distribution aimed at MacOS users. The user interface is very similar to MacOS. It encourages you to pay for the installation image but you can put $0 to download the ISO file. The installation is similar to modern Linux installation so there are no issues here. The only difference is that you require to create your user credentials after installing the OS. Not a big deal but requires some fiddling to enable auto-login compared to other Linux desktops which are more straightforward.      It comes with its own customized applications rather than usin...

The project also develops several other editions of Voyager Live - a "GE" edition with GNOME Shell, a "GS" variant for Gamers, and a separately-maintained flavour based on Debian's "stable" branch.  - Distrowatch Recently I am facinated with docks and found a distribution that is pretty nice with a dock. Linux-OS: Linux Mint 20.3 Xfce On Lenovo U41-70 Laptop With Broadcom BCM4352 Wireless Network Adaptor

Just screwed up my Zorin OS 16 Lite on my Lenovo U41-70 laptop after playing with dockbarX and with an available Linux Mint 20.3 Xfce USB media, I decided to install this Linux distro on this laptop.       So far, with the issue of lock-screen with Zorin OS 16 Lite, I am in search of an Xfce Linux distro that is stable enough for me to install on the most powerful laptop that I have.       After booting up from the USB drive, during the installation, I was surprised that Linux Mint 20.3 Xfce live media is able to detect my Broadcom BCM4352 wireless network adaptor and able to connect wireless network. Normally most distro is unable to detect my wireless network adaptor. I was delighted.  Linux Mint 20.3 Xfce with Adwaita-dark theme      After the installation, the usual removal of unwanted applications in the Internet and Multimedia menu and then install my favorite apps and do a first update of the operating system. Linux-DesktopEnv: Testing Xfce RAM Usage On Q4OS 4.7 and Linux Mint 20.3

Since I am having issues (snap apps installed not shown in the menu) with Sparky Linux 6.2 Xfce, I decided to test out other Q4OS and Linux Mint Linux distributions to see how well they worked and any issues that I might encounter. I was hoping to get a trouble-free Linux distro to install on my old Thinkpad X200. As usual, I would be testing these two using VirtualBox.  Virtual Machines specs: 1 CPU 2GB RAM 30 GB hard disk Linux Mint 20.3 Xfce I am more confident with Linux Mint since it has better support for this Linux distro. I have been using Linux Mint 20.3 on my Asus X556UB and I am satisfied with Linux Mint 20.3 MATE. I just prefer less RAM for my other laptops so I chose Xfce instead of MATE.       I do not encounter any issues so far from installation to updating the system. After trying snap installation and update theme will I conclude the test with htop result. For autologon, there is a GUI in the system menu under "login Window". It is under ...

Linux-DesktopEnv: MATE Desktop Environment

Mate Desktop Environment (https://www.opensourcefeed.org) The MATE Desktop Environment is the continuation of GNOME 2. It provides an intuitive and attractive desktop environment using traditional metaphors for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. MATE is under active development to add support for new technologies while preserving a traditional desktop experience. — https://mate-desktop.org/ MATE fully supports the GTK 3 application framework. The project is supported by Ubuntu MATE lead developer Martin Wimpress and by the Linux Mint development team:      We consider MATE yet another desktop, just like KDE, Gnome 3, Xfce etc... and based on the popularity of Gnome 2 in previous releases of Linux Mint, we are dedicated to support it and to help it improve. The most popular Linux desktop was, and arguably is, Gnome 2.      Since I have previously used Gnome desktop environment with Redhat or Mandrake Linux and my impression was it is simple ...

Linux-DesktopEnv: Xfce Desktop Environment

Image from: https://logo-all.ru/4087-xfce-logo.html Xfce is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. It aims to be fast and low on system resources, while still being visually appealing and user friendly. Xfce embodies the traditional UNIX philosophy of modularity and re-usability. It consists of a number of components that provide the full functionality one can expect of a modern desktop environment. They are packaged separately and you can pick among the available packages to create the optimal personal working environment. Linux-OS: Sparky Linux 6.2 Xfce (Stable Release) on Thinkpad X200

After reviewing the different Linux Desktop Environments (Xfce, Mate, and LXQt) and choosing Xfce, I have completed installation and configuration on my trusty Thinkpad X200 with Sparky Linux 6.2 with Xfce desktop environment (DE). I am using the default adwaita-dark theme and adwaita icons.  My Desktop      I prefer to use the dark theme as it is better on the eyes, especially during night use. Linux-DesktopEnv: RAM Usage Comparison For Sparky Linux LxQT and Xfce and Q40S MATE Desktop Environment

Today I did a test on RAM usage for the following desktop environments (DE) using VirtualBox to determine their RAM usage: MATE DE with Q4OS 4.7 Sparky Linux 6.2 LXQt Sparky Linux 6.2 Xfce      The main reason is for me to decide which desktop environment I want to use for my Lenovo Thinkpad X200. I have tried other desktop environments: Enlightenment with SparkyLinux MininumGUI  Trinity with Q4OS Bodhi Linux with a customized Enlightenment DE      The main issue with Enlightenment with SparkyLinux is that it does not work well with autologin. Sometimes it gets kicked out and you have to login again. I suspect is the windows manager issue but I cannot find the solution for this. Trinity has an issue with using jpg wallpaper so it is a turn-off as I don't want default wallpapers. The customized Enlightenment desktop in Bodhi Linux has limited themes but is still acceptable but I want to look for the best for my Thinkpad X200.     ...

TechBites: My Opinion On Desktop Linux's Future

I started using Linux in 1999 and my love for Linux never got eroded with time. Initially, I predicted that Linux would make it to the mainstream operating system (OS) within 10 years but sadly, it never happened. The consolation was the company Redhat, which supported the Redhat Linux distribution, turn commercial and made ripples on the OS industry for servers running Redhat Enterprise Linux. However, there was little progress on the desktop space for Linux.      After being a user of Linux for more than 20 years on and off, I should say I am not too optimistic about desktop Linux. Why even when Linux desktop is comparable to other desktop OSes or even better? Issues preventing wider acceptance: Proprietary drivers Some hardware companies don't open-sourced their drivers, making them not detected during installation, like Broadcom(network), Nvidia, and ATI (both graphics). Unless specific computers are preinstalled with Linux desktop, or being aware of proprietar...

LinuxOS: Sparky Linux — Lightweight And Customizable Linux Desktop Distribution

Logo from ribalinux.blogspot.com SparkyLinux is a desktop-oriented operating system based on the Debian operating system. The project offers a ready-to-use operating system with a set of various customized lightweight desktops to choose from. — Wikipedia Sparky Linux using LXQT desktop environment from  blogthinkbig.com This Linux distribution (distro) is slowly becoming my favorite. Due to lock-screen issues with Zorin OS Lite and the desktop environment limitation of Linux Lite, this is my most preferred Linux distro, especially for playing with the different desktop environments (Up to 20 from its website). Many people chose their Linux distribution based on the desktop environment customized for it so having Sparky Linux is a big help to anyone who does Linux-hopping. As Linux is all about choices and preferences, this Linux distro might be one of the most customizable Linux distros around.       It is a unique distribution in the sense that it provides...
